Angie Rittenhouse was honored with two awards at the American Business Women’s Association’s (ABWA) 30th Annual Business Associate Event on Wednesday, May 21st. She was named Woman of the Year and was the recipient of the Vonnie Hoover Spirit Award.
Rittenhouse was nominated for Woman of the Year by fellow ABWA members Ann Lesperance, Michelle Crone, and the late Vonnie Hoover. This prestigious award recognizes an ABWA member who is continually involved in activities to promote, grow, and support the chapter, someone who takes pride in herself and who works to continue to expand her knowledge. ABWA member, Vicki Pearson, nominated Rittenhouse for the Vonnie Hoover Spirit Award. This award is presented to an ABWA member who shares her excitement about ABWA with others, is always positive, and may be seen as the cheerleader of the group.
Rittenhouse has been a member of the Forks of the Wabash Chapter of ABWA for seven years. She was the chapter President in 2013-2014 and has also held many other roles in the chapter including: Vice President, Treasurer, Newsletter Chair, Brat Tent Co-Chair, and Fundraising Chair. She has also been involved with ABWA at the National level and has earned five APEX awards.
Rittenhouse has been an employee of Bippus State Bank for 28 years. She works at the Main Office as a Loan Administrator.
