DESCRIPTION

Our Service Associates are the face of our organization and are critical in caring for our customers each day. As a Retail Banker you will receive training that will allow you to successfully engage and enhance the customer’s experience by offering products and services that best meet their needs. The well-rounded knowledge base that you develop will prepare you for advancement opportunities and a robust career in banking at Bippus State Bank. Key responsibilities include:

• Provide account services to customers by:
  • Receiving deposits
  • Loan Payments
  • Cashing Checks
  • Issuing Savings Withdrawals
  • Recording Night Deposits
  • Processing Cashier Checks and Money Orders
• Identify needs and answer telephone inquiries and be able to recommend and explain solutions.
• Understand, promote and advise on the bank's products, services and electronic delivery channels.
• Resolve customer problems confidently.
• Assist other departments as necessary.

HOURS & LOCATION

Part-Time: Monday thru Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.  (20-25 hours/week)

Some Saturdays (8:30 a.m. - Noon)

This position will be based in Roanoke but will also be a Float position between branches as needed.  Other locations include Huntington, Warren and North Manchester.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience Required: 

Sales or customer service experience.

Previous banking experience is preferred, but not required.

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Technology proficiency.

Attention to detail.

Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
