Customer Service Representative

Location: Huntington Main Branch (150 Hauenstein, Huntington)

DESCRIPTION

Our Customer Service Representative provides our family of customers superior service in an efficient, professional, friendly and confidential manner. This role's primary duties and responsibilities include:

 
  • New deposit account openings including:
    • Checking, Savings, CD, IRA, HSA
  • Account and customer maintenance and changes
  • Wire transfers
  • Online banking assistance, reset password, enrollment assistance.
  • Check ordering
  • Process stop payments
  • Deposit interest rate quotes
  • Establish rapport with clients
  • Needs identification, recommend and explain solutions
  • Understand, promote and advise on the bank’s products, services and electronic delivery channels
  • Resolve customer problems confidently
  • Convert service and problem resolution to sales opportunities to deepen customer relationship and increase share of wallet
  • Maintain a professional manner and appearance

 Other Periodic Duties:

  • Teller transactions
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls
  • Assist other departments as necessary

Qualifications:

  • High school or equivalent (required)
  • Banking experience (preferred)
  • Sales or customer service experience
  • Technology proficiency
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment
