December 29, 2020 -- Stimulus Check Disbursement Causing Online Banking Overload

As part of the recent COVID-19 relief bill, the federal government will begin releasing stimulus checks on Monday, January 4, 2021.  As with previous government disbursements, funds will be released in waves and either arrive by mail or posted directly to your Bippus State Bank account upon receipt.  You can check the status of your payment by visiting the IRS GET MY PAYMENT  web tool.

In anticipation of the upcoming stimulus payments, we please ask for everyone's patience while checking your account online.
To avoid excessive volume to our online banking platform causing delays in load times, we kindly ask that you log in only ONCE A DAY to monitor your account.
 
We encourage customers to setup and utilize DEPOSIT ALERTS through our online banking which will eliminate the need to check on your account manually. Setting up account alerts is incredibly simple and can be deactivated with the click of a button if you wish to do so.

December 11, 2020 -- Roanoke Branch to Re-Open Monday, 12/14

The branch will be re-opening on Monday, December 14th.  We will maintain regular business hours Monday – Friday.  We will be closed on Saturday, December 19th.  Starting on Monday, December 21st, we will be back to regular business hours Monday – Saturday.  Lobbies continue to remain closed with entrance into the facility by appointment only. 


December 10, 2020 -- Roanoke Branch Shut Down Temporarily

We please ask for everyone's patience as we work on the best solution to re-open the facility while keeping employees and customers safe while conducting business. The NIGHT DROP is currently available 24/7 to drop off transactions and those are being processed. The ATM is also available along with our mobile and internet banking services. We are currently not allowing customers inside the facility but our goal is to re-open as quickly as possible. Lobbies will continue to remain closed once the drive-up is re-opened. If you need to come inside the facility then an appointment will need to be scheduled. We appreciate your patience and understanding!

November 19, 2020 -- LOBBY CLOSURE IN EFFECT

Effective November 23, 2020, all BSB Lobbies will be closed again until further notice. Please use our Drive-Thru service for in-person transactions. We strongly encourage customers to use Online, Mobile and Telephone Banking whenever possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

July 27, 2020 -- Masks Required for any customers entering our facilities

All customers, vendors, contractors, etc. who enter our facilities, by appointment, will be required to wear a mask.   Employees assisting those customers will also be required to wear a mask.  Officers who have an appointment in their office will be required to wear a mask along with the customer. 

 

July 6, 2020 -- Lobbies Remain Closed

April 24, 2020 -- Online Account Opening

While our lobbies are closed you can still open a new account with us ONLINE! 👍  Complete our online application for a personal checking or savings account and this will give us most of the information we need to get your account open. A CSR will then reach out to you to make plans to have you pull up in the parking lot to sign your documents.

April 15, 2020 -- Website and Mobile App Slowness

As stimulus checks are beginning to disperse, we are currently experiencing a very high volume of account inquiries on our website and mobile app causing issues in load times and/or functionality.
