HUNTINGTON, IND. DECEMBER 8, 2020: Bippus State Bank (BSB) donated coffee and pastries to Huntington County Schools’ Teachers and Staff but not just gas station coffee and donuts…GK BAKED GOODS of Fort Wayne.
BSB recently partnered up with GK Baked Goods of Fort Wayne (GK) and have been on a Pastry Truck Tour of the Huntington County Schools to share gourmet pastries and freshly brewed coffee all free of charge to HCCSC schools’ staff members!
GK and BSB partnered on this idea to make a positive impact in our communities during these stressful times. It has been very successful and widely appreciated by the 500+ staff members associated in the school corporation.
The Tour:
10/19 - Lincoln Elementary
10/23 - Riverview Middle School and Andrews Elementary
10/26 - Crestview Middle School and Flint Springs Elementary
10/27 - Salamonie School
10/28 - Huntington North High School
11/12 - Roanoke Elementary School
12/8 - Horace Mann Elementary and Huntington Catholic
“When GK approached us about the idea of donating to a school in our area, we knew we couldn't just stop at one,” says Courtney Rudicel, Marketing Director for BSB. “A case of COVID and a broken-down truck slowed us down in November, but it certainly didn’t stop us!”
The Gratitude:
“Thank you Bippus State Bank! As always, you are awesome!!”
“Thank you so much for thinking of us! Greatly appreciate all you do for us!”
“This is amazing and really makes a difference, you don’t know how much, thank you!”
Eric Fawcett, BSB President, states, “The bottom line is the bank wanted to make sure the teachers and staff members in our communities know they are appreciated and deserve to be recognized for all their hard work and sacrifices during this pandemic.”
