MAY 13, 2020: The Bippus State Bank had the honor of assisting several small businesses by providing Paycheck Protection Program funding through the Small Business Administration. Community banking has always been about being there for our neighbors and continually providing the best possible service to assist them through good times and bad.
The Bippus State Bank did just that by funding over $15.8 million dollars to 192 small businesses. That equates to more than 2,400 jobs saved.
Eric Fawcett, President of The Bippus State Bank, stated, “Our lenders provided incredible service to small businesses, working extra hours to get every application processed and approved in a timely manner. I am proud to say we were 100% successful in getting every applicant approved and with funding still available, we will continue to work for the small businesses in our communities until the funds are exhausted.”
