Bippus State Bank Named IBA Five Star Member

Bippus State Bank was recognized once again as a Five Star Member of the Indiana Bankers Association (IBA) at the 2016 IBA Mega Conference on May 4th in downtown Indianapolis.  The bank earned the award in recognition of its commitment to the IBA in areas of political awareness, issues advocacy, life-long learning, volunteerism, and Preferred Service Provider utilization.

The IBA's mission is to advocate for and sustain an environment in which banks can succeed.  Held at the Indiana Convention Center, the IBA's Mega Conference is the largest, most comprehensive state banking event in the nation.  The event spans over three days and provides networking, education, and skill-building to bankers from all over the state.  Eight employees and directors from Bippus State Bank attended this year's "Mega Impact" themed conference.  Session included topics for Business Lending, Compliance, Directors, Financial Management, Marketing, Operations, Retail Banking, Risk Management, Sales & Customer Service, and Strategic Thinking.

The Indiana Bankers Association supports Indiana banking through issues analysis, professional education, and products and services that help banks serve their communities.
